Linux Installfest 2015

An Installfest is a fun and exciting event where experienced and novice Linux users get together to install Linux on their computers, answering questions and giving help where needed. Bring your laptop to our Installfest, where we will guide you through the process of safely installing Ubuntu Linux in a virtual machine, along with basic Linux usage. By the end, you will be prepared to explore all that is Linux.

A Day in Class With Linux

Have you ever wanted to install Linux but didn’t because of schoolwork? Are you unsure if you can complete your classes with a Linux computer? Join the LUG to see how Linux can make your classwork easier and faster to complete.

We’ll cover topics such as:

See if you can stump us by bringing in some idea or task that you do during a normal class day (note: gaming during class is highly frowned upon).
